Rozki Rides: Where Driving a Bus Becomes Driving Change for the Youth

In the heart of Springfield, a quiet revolution is taking place on yellow wheels. Rozki Rides, founded by longtime driver turned entrepreneur Jessika Rozki, isn’t just another transportation company. It’s a mission. A mission to turn every ride to school into a safe space, a positive connection, and, quite literally, a vehicle for change.

From the Driver’s Seat to the CEO’s Office

Jessika Rozki knows what it feels like to grip the wheel at 6 a.m., watching sleepy-eyed kids climb aboard, each with their own story and struggles. Before founding Rozki Rides six years ago, she spent 13 years driving buses for various bus companies. She knows the long hours, the split shifts, and the overlooked dignity of the job. More importantly, she knows that a bus driver is often the first and last adult, that’s not family, a child sees each school day.

“When I say I understand drivers, it’s not from a distance,” Rozki explains. “I’ve been there. I’ve sat where they sit. I know how it feels to be treated like ‘just a driver.’ At Rozki Rides, we don’t believe in that. Our drivers are professionals. They’re mentors. They’re people kids remember for life.”

The Opportunity: CDL Drivers Needed Now

Rozki Rides is in growth mode. With contracts expanding and families relying on the quality of their service, the company needs part-time CDL school bus drivers who are fully certified and ready to start right away.

What We Offer:

  • Hourly rate: $33.85

  • 20–25 hours per week

  • Split shifts (morning and afternoon)

Requirements:

  • Age 21+ with 3 or more years of driving experience

  • Clean driving record

  • Must pass medical DOT exam

  • Must pass background check (CORI & SORI)

  • Good communication skills

Why This Job Feels Different

At Rozki Rides, the expectation isn’t just safe driving. It’s safe experiences. Drivers are chosen not only for their skills but also for their personalities. A Rozki Rides driver is someone who says “Good morning” with a smile, who understands kids as kids, not as nuisances. They know that being kind, patient, and steady can turn a stressful morning into a hopeful one.

Jessika frames it simply:

“A bus ride should be a child’s happy place. If a kid looks forward to seeing their driver, if they feel safe and respected, we’ve done our job. And that’s the kind of driver we’re looking for.”

Drivers here are not micromanaged cogs. They’re part of a team-first culture. Problems are handled with empathy, one-on-one conversations replace public scolding, and victories are shared. As Rozki puts it, “One person’s win is everybody’s win.”

More Than a Paycheck

It would be easy to focus only on the hourly rate, but what Rozki Rides offers is rarer: dignity. Drivers have direct access to the CEO if they need support. They are listened to as people, not just as employees. Many who’ve joined say it feels less like a job and more like a professional family, one where teamwork, understanding, and respect fuel every mile.

For Rozki herself, that’s non-negotiable:

“I never wanted Rozki Rides to feel like just another company. We’re building a place where drivers love to come to work, and kids love to step onto the bus. When that happens, everybody wins.”

A Call to Drivers and to the Community

For CDL Class B school bus drivers, the invitation is clear: Rozki Rides needs you now. Whether you want steady part-time hours or flexible on-call shifts, this is your chance to earn well, be respected, and make a difference every single day.

But this story isn’t only for drivers. If you know a qualified CDL driver, maybe a neighbor tired of their current company, or a recently licensed professional ready to get behind the wheel, tell them about Rozki Rides. You won’t just be helping someone find work. You’ll be helping kids step into a bus that feels safe, warm, and welcoming.

Because at Rozki Rides, it’s never been about buses. It’s about people.
