Lorenzi Health Forges a Path for Providers and its Future

Holyoke, Mass. - Not all organizations find a way to be equally beneficial to both the patients and providers. That’s what sets Lorenzi Health LLC apart.

Founder and owner Ramon Lorenzi ensures that the providers have their own individual career path, while also knowing they will give patients continual care.

“We’ve created Lorenzi Health for the providers as an educational landing point,” he said. “This is a career steppingstone for them.”

Lorenzi Health provides therapy and mental health services, prioritizing total health and wellness. Not all providers are independently licensed, so Lorenzi helps them pave their own path to move forward with their careers.

It’s usually not something larger agencies will make an effort to do. Through Lorenzi Health, providers are given access to what’s needed for licensure, from educational credits to the time needed to complete courses. The decision to create Lorenzi Health was inspired by the founder’s personal experience getting a license with a medical degree.

“Our incentive is how many people can we get licensed on a yearly basis,” Lorenzi said. “That’s what we care about.”

By offering the chance to follow their career path while helping patients, providers have more job satisfaction and are more likely to stay with an organization. This also ensures continual care for the patients, “because they don’t have to start over again,” according to Lorenzi.

Nearly all therapists with Lorenzi Health treat patients online. Having that option removes a barrier for patients to obtain mental health services. They’re less likely to miss appointments and can access healthcare more easily and efficiently.

Forging a Marketing Path

As Lorenzi Health continues to grow and offer a path for providers, the organization is developing a marketing plan that can be used to expand into other states, starting with Connecticut. To guide the process for scaling to other states, Lorenzi is assessing what has worked and what should be added.

The Stand Out Truck® team is helping develop an advertising template that can be used to reach customers and providers in these new areas. The plan includes social media and truck advertising to help drive awareness.

One of Lorenzi’s goals is to serve the most vulnerable populations. In Connecticut, this includes Medicaid patients. His marketing plan incorporates ways to service these patients and bring them needed healthcare.

“I think the struggle is that the system is so overwhelmed, there’s often a six month wait list at times,” he said. “What we try to do is identify partners in the community, whether it be schools or insurance providers, and create a partnership with them.”

Creating these partnerships helps him identify what these groups need so that they can best aid this population. He’s relying on the Stand Out Truck® team to help further those partnerships.

“We’re going to work hard this quarter and maybe next quarter to find that secret sauce of marketing,” Lorenzi said. “Then once we’ve figured that out, we can scale with metrics.”

Working with the Stand Out Truck® team was educational in understanding how marketing takes time and the importance of experimentation to learn what is successful. Lorenzi said the team carefully explained the process and prepared him for success over time, not overnight.

“Setting those expectations was really important to me,” he said. “It’s a long-term relationship that we’re trying to build with them. I think that’s how we’re going to most successful.”
